JANUARY 10-On December 30, 2019, a pizza parlor in White Center was robbed. During the robbery, an employee was assaulted. In the days following this crime, suspect information was developed, including a name and vehicle description. A bulletin was created and distributed to King County Sheriff’s Office personnel.
On Friday, January 3, SeaTac Police Officer Justin Kristofferson of the SeaTac Police was preparing to come to work. As is his habit, he reviewed all recent crime bulletins before starting his day. As he drove to work, he saw a vehicle that stood out to him in the area of S 206th St. and Military Rd. S. It only took him a second to realize the vehicle was from the crime bulletin he had just reviewed regarding the White Center pizza robbery. Officer Kristofferson notified other officers what he had found and maintained observation of the vehicle and the occupant, who appeared to be the suspect from the robbery. Once appropriate assistance had arrived, officers took the suspect into custody without incident.
Once the suspect was in custody, detectives from the King County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded. They conducted interviews, then booked this dangerous subject into jail on the Robbery charge.
