City Manager Carl Cole attended the grand opening and of the African Community Housing & Development’s (ACHD) Learning Center on February 26. SeaTac Councilmember Senayet Negusse also attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The newly opened center contains a tech-hub, technology lending library and resource center. The learning center is located at 16256 Military Rd S Suite 206, SeaTac, WA 98188.
“I have paid attention to the development of this organization as it started,” said SeaTac City Manager Carl Cole, ” So fun to watch you develop and grow and to have your own space.”
ACHD provides opportunities for African Diaspora immigrant and refugee communities, families, and individuals in King County to attain health and housing stability, economic development, high-quality education, and referrals to legal services.
