Go Green event brings volunteers to Angle Lake Park to plant trees, pull weeds

Volunteers gathered at Angle Lake Park early Saturday morning to plants trees and pull weeds.

Cedar, Fir and Sequoia trees were planted at the park by volunteers on Dec. 4. Invasive species like holly were also pulled from the ground in order to help the trees grow and thrive. Woodchips were spread along the walking trail as well.

Tables for code compliance and Recology were also made available for people to access information.
