More SR 99 closures between South 204th Street and South 208th Street are coming in September thanks to continued Sound Transit work.

Last month Sound Transit closed this portion of roadway for deck pours. September closures will be for work on the overhang, deck and include drainage installation.

Closure dates
Sept. 6 – Sept. 8: Northbound SR 99 will be closed nightly between South 208th Street and South 204th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 10: Full closure of SR 99 between South 208th Street and South 204th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. for asphalt paving and permanent striping.

Sept. 12: Northbound SR 99 will be closed between South 208th Street and South 204th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 13 – Sept. 15: Southbound SR 99 will be closed nightly between South 204th Street and South 208th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 19: Southbound SR 99 will be closed between South 204th Street and South 208th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 20 – Sept. 21: Northbound SR 99 will be closed nightly between South 208th Street and South 204th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 22: Southbound SR 99 will be closed between South 204th Street and South 208th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 26: Southbound SR 99 will be closed between South 204th Street and South 208th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 27 – Sept. 28: Northbound SR 99 will be closed nightly between South 208th Street and South 204th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sept. 29: Southbound SR 99 will be closed between South 204th Street and South 208th Street from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Sound Transit’s Federal Way Link Extension will eventually extend train service from Angle Lake in SeaTac to Federal Way. This means three new stations will be added: one outside of the City near Highline College, one at the Star Lake Park & Ride and one at the Federal Way Transit Center.
